An internal promotion has resulted in an opportunity for a dynamic and career-driven talent specialist to take the next step into a Talent Manager role, or for an experienced Talent Manager to take on a new challenge.

Your new role
Reporting into the HR Director, your new role will see you manage a team of 3 direct reports and work as part of a larger local HR team, and the global HR function.

The majority of your role will see you responsible for the Talent Management of the organization. This will involve both the implementation and design of initiatives relating to succession planning, learning & development, talent and engagement, including:

  • Implementing globally designed initiatives and adapting them to the local context
  • Leadership development and management of internal communications and engagement
  • Coordination of events and management training
  • Support and implementation of end-to-end recruitment and talent processes

An element of your role will also involve People Partnering with key teams and department heads within the Australian business.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this position, you must have strong experience in Talent and People including recruitment, learning & development and business partnering. While you may not have the management experience, you will have exceptional influencing and relationship-building skills and constantly seeking challenge and opportunities to learn. You will also:

  • Be highly resilient and a skilled mediator
  • Have excellent organizational skills and an ability to manage your own time
  • Be able to switch seamlessly between highly strategic and heavily operational activities throughout your day
  • Be able to take direction and implement global processes in the local market, as well as design locally-driven initiatives
  • Have excellent communication and leadership skills and an ability to inspire others
