Our client, a supplier and designer of fabrics, is seeking a driven generalist HR Business Partner for the Australian arm of the business. As the stand-alone HR function supporting a workforce of 80+ across Australia you will be the go-to person for all HR activities both operational and strategic.

As an integral part of the Australian operation, you will use your knowledge and expertise to support, coach, mentor and be part of the management team to offer advice and guidance on the implementation and interpretation of HR policies and legal requirements. You will be reporting to the CEO and the role is located in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne and it is a permanent position.

With your previous experience in a HR Generalist role, your key deliverables will include:

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle
  • Recruitment support
  • Performance management
  • Talent training and development guidance to support managers with their staff
  • Support organisation change by ensuring appropriate systems of performance, communication and review are in place
  • Manage the employee engagement survey and create action plans
  • The performance management process and the annual salary review process

To be considered for this role, you will have experience as an HR Generalist in a small to medium organisation and understands the dynamics that comes with a role like this.

Besides that, you have a massive passion for HR, are innovative and love working on projects that bring organisations to a next level.

You also bring a keen understanding of the current Australian commercial workplace environment. You come from a position as Senior HR Advisor, HR Business Partneror HR Manager and get excited by sharing your knowledge with others.
