ACFI Champion

Benetas is seeking a committed and experienced ACFI Champion (ACFI Coordinator) on a fixed-term part time basis. This position is located in Gladswood Lodge, to find out more about this site please go to https://www.benetas.com.au/residential-aged-care

The successful applicant will be available for a total of 25 hours per fortnight. 

The primary responsibilities of the position include:

  • Work collaboratively with the ACFI team and other key stakeholders to achieve facility and organisational targets
  • Maintain knowledge of aged care funding regulations and tools
  • Minimum of two nursing shifts each fortnight to identify possible changes in resident care
  • Prepare and distribute ACFI related documentation for charting and collection in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Conduct pre-validation audits prior to an ACFI validation to ensure that the ACFI’s which have been submitted are compliant and meet Benetas requirements
  • Provide coaching to facility staff and encourage a collaborative and positive team culture

To be successful in this position, you will demonstrate:

  • Registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse (Medication Endorsed)
  • A friendly and positive attitude and are naturally able to build relationships that make a difference
  • Embrace Benetas values of respect, responsibility, community and spirit
  • Experience in collating information and preparing for ACFI submissions (required)
  • A good understanding of ACFI business rules, legislation and compliance
  • Experience in identifying client needs and assessing requirements
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Valid working rights and are willing to obtain a Police Check
