JOB DESCRIPTION

The Pubilc Sector Reform and Performance branch is looking for a talented individual to develop and contribute to innovative policy advice to the Premier, Minister for Government Services, the Secretary of DPC and senior departmental officers.

The Public Sector Reform and Performance Branch is responsible for leading and coordinating work on major issues relating to the management and operations of the Victorian government, including the strategic direction of reform of the public sector, public sector performance, citizen identity access and management.

You will be a proactive self-starter with a good understanding of government processes and an ability to work well with internal and external stakeholders, including senior stakeholders, in a complex, sensitive and fast paced environment.

You will use your analytical and conceptual skills to prepare high quality and strategic analysis and advice to senior government stakeholders within tight timeframes.

Previous complex policy development and broad stakeholder engagement experience will be highly regarded.
