The primary purpose of the successful candidate is to deliver growth and increase market support for our stock preparation business in pulp and paper across ANZThis role will provide technical and process support/guidance to the other Valmet specialist teams and customers. You will be working closely together with our local Mill Sales Managers as well as having assigned customers for which you will need to develop and foster these relationships, support sales leads, prepare and or coordinate competitive proposals, follow up on those proposals to complete sales, delivery, installation and aftermarket product support. The need to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, both Valmet and customers, while meeting key business drivers, will be critical to your success.Key to the roll will be communicating with various Business Units and associated Technology Unit specialists to update and implement offering strategies in ANZ.Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Pulp and Paper environment in any of the following roles: projects, process, operations or maintenance
  • Passion for building and maintaining customer relationships, encompassing solid interpersonal, communication and presentation skills (in English)
  • Solution and service minded, with the ability to read and comprehend technical documents and drawings
  • Solid negotiation skills and ability to work under pressure in different customer situations and in different cultural environments
  • Good collaboration skills. You can work independently but also enjoy working as part of the team
  • A willingness to travel across Australia and New Zealand on a regular basis. With some international travel requirements.
