The Company

Our client is a well-respected organisation that has operated in Australia for close to 50 years. The organisation has been growing significantly over the last 2 years and this has led to multiple vacancies within their payroll team. The business is centrally located in Melbourne however the organisation has embraced working from home flexibility.

The Role

The purpose of this role is to join a growing payroll function and bring a wealth of experience with you. This role is end-to-end and you will see the full employee lifecycle as a part of your role. The business operates in an industry that is highly regulated & also involves some complicated awards, shift patterns and overtime calculations.

You will be responsible for:

  • End to end payroll
  • Timesheet processing
  • Weekly, fortnightly & monthly payroll
  • Reconciliations
  • Payroll Tax
  • Superannuation payments
  • Month End Assistance
  • New starters / terminations
  • Ad hoc support to Finance team

Your Profile

This role is well suited to an experienced Payroll Officer that is confident managing an end-to-end payroll. You will have high attention to detail and great customer service skills. Large payroll system skills will be looked upon favourably however not essential for this position. Ideally you will be available to start at short notice.
