Duration: 6 months contract + high chance of extension


Required skills:

  • 8+ years of experience as Business Analyst
  • 3+ years of experience in Insurance Domain
  • Experience in Agile methodologies implementation building high performance cross functional teams and delivering incremental business value with lean processes and close collaboration with customers
  • Proficient in requirement decomposition to epics, features, user stories, Product backlog creation & grooming.
  • High level of flexibility with the ability to adapt to change
  • Work closely with project owner in backlog management and continuous delivery of features.
  • Initiate and support Agile development of scrum multi-function teams
  • Use JIRA for end to end project and team management process and guide the team to use JIRA for various activities.
  • Requirements gathering and analysis using Agile techniques
  • Work closely with User Experience specialists, developers and testers to provide clarification when required
  • Write acceptance criteria in collaboration with the testing team
  • Actively participate in Agile processes including planning and estimation
  • An understanding of iOS and Android native design patterns, guidelines and elements would be a distinct advantage.
  • Create formal user stories based on functional and non-functional requirements
  • Responsible for Agile processes and improvement within the team
  • Prioritise removal of impediments and coach the team to resolve them
  • Maintain the focus on customer value and outcomes and maximise flow
  • Lead the team to achieve continuous delivery and to build quality in supported platforms/systems
  • Develop, monitor and communicate team reporting and metrics
  • Coach the team on agile principles and practices to grow agile maturity
  • Plan development, planning and delivery of a portfolio of work for the team
  • Ensure the team remains focused on priorities and aligned to strategy and roadmaps, and that backlog and release plans are maintained
  • Liaise with other teams to ensure dependencies between teams are understood and managed
  • Undertake delegated responsibilities, as required
