POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Project officer will manage the delivery of construction projects for key government initiatives in relation to capital grants, assets, capital developments and property arrangements with registered community housing agencies. The role involves maintaining collaborative relationships with key stakeholder and external service providers and management of government procurement processes, budget and cash flow management, reporting and risk management.

Are you:

  • Experienced within the community housing sector with a proven track record of delivering projects?
  • A strong communicator with experience working collaboratively with a range of key stakeholders to achieve objectives?
  • Flexible and Accountable: adaptable; open to new ideas; show initiative; proactive and self-starting; seizes opportunities and acts upon them?
  • A collaborative team member who works well with others in pursuit of team goals and has good communication skills?
  • An experienced Project Manager with experience in the full end-to-end management of project delivery, including procurement processes (with Asset Management), budget and cash flow management, reporting and risk management?
