JOB DESCRIPTION

The Project Officer – Grant Programs position supports the Solar Homes Program by administering rebates and grants for programs relating to solar PV, hot water and split system reverse cycle air conditioners. The position is responsible for providing support in the development and administration of funding agreements.

The successful applicant will support the Industry Engagement team within the Policy and Sector Development division, ensuring the implementation and delivery of programs which support Community Housing Organisations to apply and receive rebates as part of the Solar Homes Program. The successful applicant will also provide high-level support to the Industry Engagement team to conduct stakeholder engagement activities, including secretariat support and project management tasks as required.

Sound project management, grant management and administrative capabilities are required together with a collaborative and team approach. It is desirable for the incumbent in this role to have a high-level understanding of Salesforce grant management systems. These skills will enable project and administrative delivery of Solar Victoria's Community Housing rebate programs.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • An appropriate tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in project management or grant management.
  • Experience working in a Salesforce platform and an understanding of government processes is highly regarded.
  • Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to negotiate, influence and work productively, respectfully and sensitively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders

This is a fixed term position available for a period of 12 months.
