This key position will suit an experienced Legal Assistant and will see you drawing on all aspects of your advanced skills whilst providing pivotal support to a one of the lovely Principal Solicitors and an equally charming Senior Lawyer within the thriving Commercial team with a strong emphasis on Wills & Estates including contested matters.

There is an element of diplomacy required in this position and therefore, an understanding of etiquette and protocol will be highly regarded. Your role will involve responsibilities including:

  • Digital dicta-typing;
  • Electronic billing; 
  • Detailed diary management for operators;
  • Preparing client engagement correspondence;
  • Complex formatting of documents and making amendments to the same;
  • Preparing Probate, Wills, and associated documents via instruction;
  • Organising appointments, meetings, travel and functions as required;
  • Producing drafts and reports;
  • Filing - electronic and hard copy; and
  • Opening and closing files.

To be successful in this role you will have solid experience as a Legal Assistant with exposure to Commercial Law - particularly Wills and Estates. Additionally, you will possess first-rate communication skills, meticulous organisational ability, a sharp eye for detail and a confident, polished and enthusiastic approach to your work. You will be able to prioritise a variety of tasks and responsibilities and have excellent time management skills.
