The Role

This is a wonderful opportunity to be working in a dynamic vibrant team. Your role will entail a mix of operations and project activities supporting IAG’s internal users. Along with supporting IAG’s Business, a large part of your role will be working with our Partners ensuring we achieve the best outcome together. You will be working collaboratively with your peers in Australia and New Zealand contributing to a highly skilled and valued team.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support teams with their ongoing journey away from manually building, testing and deploying software to automated pipelines, enabling Continuous Integration practices
  • Support software releases via the Continuous Delivery pipelines, working with the delivery teams to ensure software testing and deployment is automated all the way to production
  • Document patterns, decisions and environment infrastructure
  • Support teams to implement instrumentation of application and infrastructure to obtain quality and performance insights including in-depth diagnosis and tuning of services
  • Provide technical assistance to improve system performance, capacity, reliability and scalability
  • Support application and infrastructure security designs/patterns including management of certificates and secrets
  • Orchestrate knowledge transfer sessions with fellow DevOps Engineers and other stakeholders across IAG Technology
  • Manage backlog of issues and initiatives

You’ll ideally have
  • 7+ years demonstrated industry-related experience as a senior Network Engineer or Network Administrator
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment, e.g. financial services
  • Solid experience in CISCO and F5 networking technologies
  • Hands on experience of Wireless technologies, Remote Access Services such as Cisco AnyConnect and Network Authentication Services (NAC)
  • Familiarity with Cloud networking strategy and concepts
  • Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (Splunk knowledge ideal but not required)
  • Flexibility to be called after hours on a on call roster
