JOB DESCRIPTION

The role is located within the Application Services Branch, School Administration Unit in the information management and Technology division. The Information Management and Technology division provides innovative and integrated ICT Systems and information management services and support.

The role is located within the Application Services Branch, School Administration Unit in the information management and Technology division. The Information Management and Technology division provides innovative and integrated ICT Systems and information management services and support. The function of the Application Services Branch is to provide and support innovative and integrated IMT environments used in schools, corporate offices and across the Department that enhance business practices, leading to improved learning and development outcomes.
The Function of the School Administration Unit is to provide application lifecycle management of the CASES21 management application used by all schools,provide CASES21 and software testing expertise and services,
plan and deliver training and support services for school administration processes and systems for all schools.

This exciting opportunity provides support service delivery for the school administration systems including CASES21, eCASES and associated platforms and applications. This includes application and technical support; including expertise and compliance for corporate and school customers across the Department and education sector

To be successful in the role you are required to have:

  • over 2 years experience in a similar role
  • excellent communication and problem management skills
  • excellent customer support skills, with a proven ability to establish and manage relationship with key internal and external stakeholders
  • a love of operations, customer service and strong desire to innovate how you make a difference
  • school Administration systems knowledge including CASES21, eCASES and associated platforms
  • knowledge of key school curriculum and administrative operations; including student admin and finance and associated policies.
