As TNT is part of the FedEx family of companies, this role will support the operations of both FedEx Express and TNT in Australia, and will be based between TNT’s Welshpool Station.


About the role:

Our People Operations (HR) team are dedicated to delivering the best possible service to our employees and customers with an above and beyond mentality. As the People Operations Specialist, you will provide HR guidance and support to our Ground Operations across Western Australia.


  • Provide people operations excellence to employees and management on employee relations matters
  • Support the local People Operations team through key people initiatives, projects and daily business activities
  • Develop and maintain HR knowledge and understanding of relevant FedEx principles, processes, tools and best practice
  • Provide specialist employee relations advice proactively and be a true partner by assisting in developing appropriate solutions for people issues
  • Opportunity to gain exposure in employee investigations and IR related matters.
  • Build and develop strong lasting stakeholder relationships with key departments across the business by providing accurate, timely and appropriate advice
  • Support the People Operations Specialist for NSW and build a strong working relationship with them in order to provide a unified HR Support structure across the Ground network


Experience required:

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ human resources experience
  • Bachelors’ degree or equivalent
  • Experience operating in a complex industrial environment
  • Experience working with unions on people matters
  • Ability to interpret industrial instruments


In addition to the essential experience, the following traits are desirable:

  • Ability to operate in a fast moving, dynamic and fast-moving environment
  • Ability to connect with all levels of the organisation from Senior Managers through to Couriers
  • Drive to further your HR aptitude with FedEx through learning and development to ensure prosperous career progression
  • Reliability with a can-do attitude and the willingness to go above and beyond for the customer
