Multiple Senior Planners required for State Government 3 month contract working with State Government major project team in Melbourne.

Your new company

You will be working with a Melbourne based State Government organisation based in Central Melbourne who have seen an increase in financial support over recent months in order to assist with driving development in the city. Working with industry leading planners and specialists across several fields, you will be working on large scale and nationally important regeneration schemes.

Your new role

In this diverse planning role, you will take on an eclectic workload and you will be able to focus on areas of strategic planning that interest you the most. Primarily, you will be working to provide high level statutory and strategic advice to major development schemes and assisting multiple stakeholders in making sure that major applications progress effectively.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a qualified town planner (international qualifications will be considered) with suitable rights to work in Australia. You will have extensive experience either with a Victorian Council, State Government organisation or a private sector planning firm and have an understanding of the planning process from pre-application stage to amendments to delivery.

What you'll get in return

You will earn between $65-85 per hour + super (VPS5 equivalent) and have a secured 3 month contract, with the potential to progress within the organisation. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to develop your career, working with some of the leading planners in the country.
