A highly reputable Logistics client are looking to strengthen their Customer Service department with 2 strong Customer Service Representatives. Your new role

As acting Customer Service Representatives, your responsibilities include but are not limited too:

  • Clearly communicate regularly with clients
  • Be the first point of call for any client enquiries
  • Effectively trouble shoot problems that arise
  • Order entry into Maximas System and maintaining data integrity.
  • Arranging delivery schedules with clients and communicating these plans to wider business through Transport System and email.
  • Monitoring of delivery schedules and all import/export orders for their given clients, raising issues perceived or actual to ensure completion.
  • Liaising with Wharf, Container Yard, Empty Park and Transport personnel inside and outside business.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in the role, we would like you to tick most of the below boxes:

  • 3-5 years in transport operations / customer service.
  • Experience dealing with container freight, both import and export.
  • Experience handling major clients and their requirements
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal input from superiors (work from home due to COVID needs to be taken into account) though majority of work would be office based onsite at the address in my signature.
  • Familiarity with Citrix / Maximas Transport System, 1-stop and Container Chain online system desirable.
  • Expected to be proficient emailing, using Microsoft Office, have reasonable computer skills.
  • High attention to detail
  • Flexibility around hours
  • Hold a solution based outlook
