JOB DESCRIPTION
My client is one of Australia’s premier building and development groups, that pride itself on innovative building solutions, a fantastic working culture and unrivalled staff retention and development. The group specialise in industrial projects as well as retail and commercial builds and have a strong pipeline of projects for 2021. They are looking for a CA with 2-3 years experience in the new build commercial or industrial space.
The Role
As a CA within this group your core skills and experience will include:
- Accurate preparation of monthly management reports
- review, negotiate, administer and finalise subcontracts
- preparation and submission of progress claims
- manage and track project expenditure
- Advise the project team on commercial and contractual matters.
The Candidate
The right candidate will be a Contract Administrator with between 2-3 years experience. You must be able to evidence proven CA experience with a commercial or industrial builder. You must be someone that wants to develop their career and look to develop into a Project Manager in the future.
Other core skills will include:
- Procure, package and negotiate sub-contracts through to final account
- Administration of all claims, variations, progress payments and contract correspondence
- Strong budget management and reporting
- Accurate preparation of monthly management reports
