• Contribute to the delivery of new software applications using an agile approach
• Contribute towards projects in accordance with relevant DELWP frameworks, processes, and standards
• Promote and support innovative digital options to deliver greater value from DELWP’s spatial informationWork as part of a small team that works side-by-side with system users and external vendors to iteratively develop, enhance and maintain innovative digital options.

The Digital Product Officer is a key position within the Land Information and Spatial Services (LISS) branch of the Strategic Land Assessment and Information Division – Land Use Victoria. Working in an agile environment where there is a strong emphasis on early and iterative delivery of valuable working products, the position of Digital Product Officer will contribute to the delivery of new software applications including customer and stakeholder engagement to facilitate collaborative and iterative development.

An essential aspect of the role will include working directly with internal and external customers, systems and data owners to understand problems and communicate solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience or relevant qualification in digital delivery.
  • Some technical understanding of geospatial technology is desirable.
