What you'll do

Performance Analyst Graduates commence in February 2022 and will:

• Assist with conducting performance audits
• Deliver their work in line with quality standards and agreed timeframes and budgets
• Develop a depth of understanding of public agency practices and processes
• Build positive relationships with internal and external partners
• Exercise judgement in identifying and reporting potential audit issues
• Develop an understanding of auditing standards and guidelines, audit methodology and processes
• Actively pursue professional learning aligned with VAGO's goals
• Contribute to developing and delivering business improvement projects

Who you are

You're a student in your final year of tertiary studies (or have already graduated), preferably at a postgraduate level. We accept a wide range of academic backgrounds, including:

• The Arts (Public Policy, Social Sciences, Economics or similar)
• Law, Business, Health Science or related fields

Applicants with the following skills are encouraged to apply:

• Highly developed communication and social skills
• Sound judgment skills and a willingness to use your initiative
• Resilience and maturity
• Alignment with the VAGO values of Respect, Collaboration, Innovation and Accountability

Experience working in a compliance, investigation, inquiry or review environment isn't needed, but would be a bonus.
