Join a trusted brand!*

Bendigo and Adelaide Bank is on a journey towards becoming Australia's bank of choice. This is an exciting time as we implement an ambitious strategy focussed on a new way of working which includes huge investment in our systems, technology, process, and people.

About the role

This role sits within Sandhurst Trustees, which is a key division of the Group's Wealth Services business providing superannuation, managed funds and funeral bonds to its customers which are distributed through the Group's distribution channels.

As the Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be at the heart of revealing what's going in the business by converting data into information, and information into insights and advice. You will be supporting the business to make smart, informed decisions in its distribution and customer retention efforts through:

  • Production and distribution of regular and ad-hoc reporting for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Trend and industry analysis
  • Analysing and forecasting profit and loss results
In this role you will be empowered to get on with what you need to do, how you like to do it, and also be part of a small and very interactive team who bounce ideas off each other and challenge each other to learn, grow and provide exceptional outcomes.

This is a full-time permanent position with flexible work options available. You can be based anywhere, provided you have access to one of our head or regional offices, or a home office with a good internet connection.

About you

As an absolute must, you will have a background in a similar analytical role. The ideal candidate will also have:
  • Experience in the Superannuation industry: highly regarded
  • Proven ability to interact proactively with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • SQL scripting knowledge
  • Experience in manipulating a set of data (usually Excel/CSV) and producing a report for a set purpose using Excel or PowerBI tools.
Underneath your techy armour, there will be an inquisitive mind and a passion about data and its ability to improve business performance. In short: We are looking for someone who loves data, loves analysing trends, and loves trying to find an answer to a problem!
