The primary focus of the role will be on leading the provision of environmental planning and approvals input to diverse range of strategic infrastructure projects and is likely to be working with partner organisations within a Technical Advisor setting.

This is a leadership role with future career progression opportunities. 


About you

As a successful candidate for this role you will be able to demonstrate: 

• 10 - 14 years relevant industry experience in a consulting, private industry, or a government environment

• Recognised tertiary qualifications in science, engineering, planning, law or similar 

• Experience in environmental planning, impact assessment and/or statutory approval processes

• Project management, research and analytical skills

• Business development experience would be highly regarded

• Effective written communication and report writing skills

• Ability to remain positively motivated and foster team spirit at times of significant pressure, including assisting others to meet deadlines


About the role

With focus on a range of environmental planning related projects and associated statutory approvals, either in support of a wider team or as the Project Manager, this role includes:

• Leading environmental input into State significant infrastructure projects, our current portfolio includes the Victorian Murray Floodplain Restoration Project, Major Roads Projects Victoria and level crossing removals
