Accounts Assistant - Part Time


Hotondo Homes Support Office is based in Moorabbin and seeks an Accounts Assistant to assist our business in a part time capacity, around 22.5hrs per week. Days and hours to suit can be negotiated.


You will be responsible for assisting with accounts processing and data entry in MYOB and Access database. You must be organised, accurate with attention to detail and excellent communication skills. You will have a keen interest in systems and procedures and be provided with the opportunity to make our systems even better.


Your duties will include:

  • Debtor and creditor invoice creation and management
  • Daily banking, eftpos and credit card transactions
  • Management of small inventory system from an accounts perspective
  • Assist with payroll and general HR Governance
  • General office duties relating to accounts
  • Assist with end of month procedures


The successful candidate will demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Experience in MYOB
  • Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or relevant experience.
  • Experience and proficient in Microsoft Office 365
  • Broad office and financial experience in a small business environment
