Blackmagic Design is one of the world's leading manufacturers of products for the professional video, feature film and television industries. With offices and manufacturing sites across the globe our products are used on many of the world’s most acclaimed productions, including Academy Award winning films.

Growth within the business has created an opportunity for a mid level marketer or account manager to join the Marketing team in Melbourne. Reporting to the Marketing Director, this role is responsible for the delivery of multi-lingual global marketing campaigns to support product sales with particular focus on website development, as well as advertising, retail catalogues, product brochures and sales channel collateral.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop and co-ordinate the execution of product advertising campaigns to specified target markets, creating awareness to support sales objectives.
  • Preparation of briefs for internal agency team including creative concept development and artwork, copywriting, photographic and 3D visualisation briefs, development of video scripts and production.
  • Project management of campaign elements, from creative concept to production/delivery.
  • Preparation and execution of region specific sales channel campaigns.
  • Liaison with Global Advertising Manager for campaign media placement.
  • Liaison with Regional Sales Offices for development and creation of channel support materials.
  • Collaboration with in-house translation team.

The successful candidate will need to have experience in marketing/communication planning and product life cycle management. Knowledge of international markets and multi-lingual skills would be highly considered, in particular the European region.

Ideally the successful candidate will have 5+ year's industry experience gained in the delivery of retail and sales channel campaigns in a fast-paced environment on either creative agency or client side. Demonstrated experience in B2B and B2C marketing in the broadcast, film and video industry, or related industries is essential.
