About MoVida

MoVida is our original venue, located at 1 Hosier Lane Melbourne. We offer both modern and traditional Spanish food, in a warm and casual environment with professional service.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Have initiative and be self motivated

Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent customer service
  • Follow workplace occupational health and safety procedures at all times
  • Examine all deliveries to ensure quality and product consistency
  • Preparing and cooking food, minimising food wastage
  • Cooking and plating up food consistent according to the recipe, making sure the quality of the food meets our expectations
  • Adjusting and modifying dishes for dietary requirements and allergies
  • Ensure stock is controlled and rotated and food is stored appropriately
  • Use all kitchen equipment correctly, regulating temperatures and reporting any problems or damage
  • Assist with training new and apprentice staff, including demonstrating cooking techniques

We have a full time position available at both MoVida. We are open seven days a week so you may be required to work weekends, we do however ensure that our team has two consecutive days off each week.
