Project Officer - 2 positions (3 years Fixed term, Full-time)
The Asset Management Branch (the Branch) is a new Branch within the VSBA that supports the effective management of school assets under the shared responsibility model. The Branch seeks to ensure that all responsible parties are equipped with the information, tools and capability to effectively manage school assets, as well as implementing asset management reform projects that will enhance the asset management system under which we operate. Relevant programs within the Branch include School Cleaning, Greener Government School Buildings, Rolling Facilities Evaluation, Specialist Assessments, School Maintenance Planning, Asset Management Planning, Bricks and Mortar and Asset Information Management System.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Coordinate and manage responses to stakeholder enquiries
- Develop communications collateral and supporting resources. including policy documents, fact sheets and FAQs
- Respond to requests for information from the Minister's Office and Executive team of the Authority, including the development of briefings, correspondence and parliamentary collateral
- Promote and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including regional offices and schools
- Undertake data analysis and evaluation of programs and projects
- Identify and leverage opportunities to promote better and more systematic business processes within the Branch
- Provide administrative support for programs and projects
- Support the Branch in other ways as required
Role specific requirements
- A valid Driver Licence
- This position is required to participate in shift work as the team operates 7 days per week
- This position may involve evening or weekend work including occasional travel
