Senior Regional Coordinator (multiple)

  • $101,120 - $122,348 (Plus Superannuation)
  • Fixed Term for 24 Months (until June 2023)
  • Usual hours of work: Full Time (flexibility may be available)
  • Various work locations: Barwon South West, Gippsland, Grampians, Hume, Loddon Mallee, Melbourne

The Senior Regional Coordinator positions sit within two branches of the Employment and Inclusion Group:

Reporting to a Team Manager, these roles have responsibility for managing and facilitating the integrated delivery of a range of regionally based initiatives, and for providing strategic advice to senior stakeholders on regional plans, strategic directions and priority economic and community development projects across the region. They will enable communities and delivery partners to work together to achieve greater ecoomic inlcusion and to achieve a strong, long term recovery across Victoria.

Key accountabilities

  1. Manage programs: manage implementation of Jobs Victoria and Place-based economic inclusion program sites, ensuring program objectives and contractual commitments are understood and met. Ensure program delivers on the intent of local leadership by identifying how to support and enable community aspiration and objectives. Administer grants, including monitoring progress, and managing grant agreements, contracts and payments.
  2. Engage actively with stakeholders: Work directly with a wide variety of stakeholders from the government, private and not for profit sectors to leverage opportunities for collaboration, communicate key needs, share information and identify opportunities. Establish and maintain a community of practice with relevant organisations. Listen to and understand context for partners and translate this into meaningful program impacts. Deliver key messages and performance expectations as needed. Convene stakeholders to share information and progress issues.
  3. Track and assess progress and lessons: Actively monitor program progress and key issues, including through, but not limited to, program reporting requirements. Identify trends, risks and key insights and share these actively with the wider team and stakeholders. Contribute to operational and strategic duties. 

The successful candidate will deliver critical objectives using their extensive experience in leading and facilitating improved regional development outcomes to, an open, engaged mindset, and excellent stakeholder and project management skills.
