The Role & Team


The Recruitment Coordinator role sits within our Partner Recruitment team, which forms part of the wider Professional Recruitment team at Specsavers and is responsible for the delivery of our Partnership talent pipeline, contributing to the fulfillment of Joint Venture Partnership vacancies within our store network.


The Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Specsavers Pathway Program, which is our in-house learning program established to support, build and grow our internal pipeline of future store partners. The program plays a key commercial role in our business by ensuring our future Partners are set up for success when taking the next step in their career.


This is achieved through 360 delivery of our program cycle including; candidate attraction, candidate assessment and selection, advertising and branding, event management, mentoring, development and program evolvement.


The role reports into the Pathway Program Lead and forms part of the broader Professional Recruitment Team.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Candidate attractionimplementing new and innovative ways of attracting internal candidates to a career in store partnership
  • End to end delivery of the bi-annual Career events across ANZ – responsible for all aspects of event management and coordination
  • Contributing to a high volume Partner pipeline, supporting new and existing cohorts of candidates, with a target of +100 candidates annually
  • Assessment and selection of candidates throughout the Partnership journey
  • Effective management and coordination of a minimum of 4 Pathway intakes per year
  • Ensuring a high caliber of candidates are maintained through, coaching and mentoring, workshop facilitation and learning and development activity


The Skills we are looking for:



  • Strong attention to detail, organization skills and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to communicate effectively and to influence, build and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders
  • Prior experience in a learning and development or talent acquisition position is desirable
