Manager, Analytics and Reporting

  • $124,033 - $165,983 (Plus Superannuation)
  • Fixed Term for 24 months
  • Usual hours of work: Full (flexibility may be available)

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Analytics and Reporting Manager to join the Jobs Victoria Technology and Insights branch at the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions. This position forms part of the Jobs Victoria branch within the Employment and Inclusion group.

Reporting to the Director – Data & Business Insights, Jobs Victoria, this is a “hands-on” Analytics and Reporting role sitting in the Data and Business Insights Unit. We are looking for an experienced, confident and highly motivated practitioner who will set and own the overall direction and deliverables of the analytics and reporting program, while managing an ambitious portfolio of initiatives to drive capability uplift and data maturity across teams.

Key accountabilities:

  1. Set the overall direction of the analytics and reporting program for Jobs Victoria with support from the Director and the Head of Technology Delivery.
  2. Own the business intelligence product strategy and roadmap, including feature enhancements and build a clear plan for improvement over time.
  3. Be the main point of contact for all regular and ad-hoc information requests. Provide guidance and leadership to the data team to ensure that all required reporting and analyses are completed on time and to the highest possible quality.

The successful applicant will enjoy working in high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams and engaging with stakeholders from all levels of the Department. You will be confident in designing effective, user-centered business intelligence products and services, and in adopting Agile delivery approaches to support the Jobs Victoria team deliver on program outcomes.
