Programmed are seeking qualified Laboratory Technicians with proven experience, for our client based in Rowville.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in a Laboratory testing environment, with knowledge in HACCP and GMP guidelines and procedures. This role will be mainly working with food and chemical products, and a strong standard of record keeping, quality checking and auditing is required.

You will be responsible for ensuring fast paced and quality testing, adhering to all Food safety guidelines.

Duties And Responsibilities Involved But Not Limited To
  • Ensuring prompt and accurate test results are recorded accordingly
  • Sampling, testing, auditing and constant quality checking of all products
  • Maintaining general housekeeping duties
  • Handling of raw products and chemical materials

To Be Successful You Must Have
  • Previous FMCG Laboratory experience
  • Advanced computer skills, data trend analysis and report writing capabilities
  • Qualification in Food Science, Chemistry or Microbiology
  • A strong awareness of safety and associated risk
  • Knowledge of calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment and instrumentation
  • Strong GMP training and knowledge
  • The ability to work efficiently/independently with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Willing to undertake pre-employment drug & alcohol testing and police check
  • Own reliable transport with valid licence
