About The Role

Role Location- Melbourne

Role Type- Permanent, Full time

As ANZ Project Manager Capital Reforms you will be responsible for driving the successful implementation of a large-scale Regulatory Capital project with impacts across ANZ. The change to be implemented is an industry wide initiative impacting profitability, capital holdings and competitive position for ANZ in the broader global banking market.

The impact of these capital reform changes is expected to be wide reaching and will require significant internal senior stakeholder interactions across Risk, Finance, Treasury and Divisional business lines to deliver.

Your Key Priorities And Responsibilities Include-
  • Delivering large-scale project for internal business partners
  • Organising project team by identifying areas of needed expertise and required skills
  • Identifying, assessing impact of and resolving project issues and conflicts with business partners, management and/ or project team
  • Supporting budget tracking and variance mitigation efforts
  • Providing current status and updates on programs as requested with executive management, business partners and internal project teams
  • Defining, tracking, and ensuring completion of project milestones and deliverables


About You

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following-
  • Significant Project Management experience of complex multi-team deliveries
  • Knowledge within financial services with ability to deliver business change programs and/or in delivering corporate change programs within the Finance Industry sector
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into easily digestible content and Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with senior stakeholders and develop strong stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to present recommendations and drive decision making with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to analyse current business and technology/ data processes ahead of making recommendations for target state
  • Able to work under tight schedules and consistently meet objectives
