JOB DESCRIPTION
Manage a team, Estimate and Tender for New Build, Refurb and Fit Out Projects up to $15m with tier 3 builder Join a commercial construction business with over 30 years experience delivering projects across Education, Local Council, Health and Aviation. The company has a strong culture and a close-knit team.
Ambitious Senior Estimator required to tender complex and interesting Commercial Construction, Fit Out & Refurb projects across a multitude of sectors
Opportunity to lead the team for the right person.
Duties
- Ability to work in a team environment and unsupervised
- Commercial experience
- Quality take offs
- Ability to tender on multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong customer service focus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to use Buildsoft & Cost X
- Ability to read and interpret building plans/engineering drawings
- Have at least 5 years’ experience as an Estimator in Commercial Construction.
- Be confidently able to learn and use IT packages
- Be a driven team player, ambitious to rise to senior levels as a career estimator and mentor others
- Understand how construction methods impact on costs
