Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing market leader in the field of FX (forex) and CFD trading, who has built a strong foundation providing thorough and in-depth services and education to their clients worldwide.

With an expanding portfolio of clients across Australia, the Junior Account Manager will be further expanding their desk, delivering outstanding results in the form of sales, retention and exceptional client service.

Reporting to the Head of Sales, your role will be:

  • Developing new client relationships, maintaining existing client relationships and building upon warm leads and referrals.
  • Manage all client communication via phone, email, live-chat and social media support.
  • Providing clients with tailored solutions to their enquiries as well as providing exceptional service to promote interest in the trading markets.
  • Collaborate with key internal departments to drive sales initiatives.
  • Troubleshooting any technical issues on client's behalf and providing ongoing support and assistance.
  • Coordinate your workflow/deadlines and administrational management of client accounts.
  • Ensure communication, processes and procedures are adhered to in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Occasional client meetings and attendance of seminars and trade shows.

Essential requirements for the role are:

  • Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Proven experience working in a high performing sales or retentions environment where you have achieved targets and KPI’s
  • Proven ability to time-manage and prioritise multiple workloads
  • Ability to think, learn and adapt quickly, as well as grasp financial terminology and language
  • Team focused attitude and ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Immaculate business/corporate presentation when attending trade shows, seminars etc
  • A genuine desire to build and develop a successful career in finance trading.

Highly Regarded but Not Essential:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or finance related field (insurance, banking, fintech)
  • Tertiary qualifications in finance or relevant field.
  • An in-depth understanding or genuine interest in FX, CFD, derivatives, options trading.

Candidates just completing relevant internships or have some banking/financial service sales experience at any level will be moved up the top of the list.

Experienced sales account managers outside of finance (FMCG, telco, energy, government etc) will be bumped to the top too.

Candidates with a strong phone outbound sales, b2b sales, face to face sales, territory or area management sales background and a genuine interest in Trading, CDF, FX and derivatives, looking to learn, improve and develop a successful career in the industry will also be highly considered.

Candidates that have already have experience in FX/CFD trading or a background in finance, derivatives etc, will be set up for success via a fast-track towards becoming a fully fledged Senior Account Manager with a highly competitive salary + bonus structure dependant upon your experience.

Salary: $48,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
