About the Role

Kindergarten Teachers are responsible for the development and delivery of Council’s early learning program for pre-schoolers.


  • Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the centre community.
  • Develop and implement an innovative early learning program reflective of current early years thinking and practice.
  • Document children’s learning and development.
  • Actively working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Skills and Experience

  • A completed Bachelor of Early Education (or working towards).
  • Prior experience in long day-care/kindergarten.
  • Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Current First Aid Certificate HLTAID 004
  • Pre-employment medical check
