JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking a skilled Infrastructure Team Member to be responsible for the provision of general park and asset maintenance in some of the most prestigious and beautiful parks and open spaces in Melbourne.

Key responsibilities:
Undertake general maintenance and repairs as directed to varied parks and gardens infrastructure, including playgrounds, park furniture, pathways, fences, bollards and buildings
Utilise the Maintenance Management System ‘MEX’ on an iPad to receive and generate Work Orders, record inspections and maintenance activities
Clean park furniture, play equipment and surrounds including general grime, graffiti, litter, branches, leaves, syringes, cobwebs, etc
Undertake proactive and reactive asset maintenance activities across a wide range of genres, including painting, concreting, carpentry, welding, hard landscaping and general repair work

About you:
Experience in asset maintenance within an Open Space setting (or similar)
Level 2/3 Playground Inspectors Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Mechanically minded and able to “think outside the square”
Ability to interact with a variety of people from the general public to senior managers
Undertake duties in a safe and responsible manner
