Be part of our hotel pre opening team at Holiday Inn Werribee where you will join us on our exciting journey of entering the growth market of Melbourne’s West.





Your day to day

Being based at Holiday Inn Werribee, you will play an integral part of the hotel leadership team and be responsible for driving all Human Resources operations in alignment with our people strategies. You will work as a trusted advisor to the General Manager and Manager of Finance as you ensure the hotel’s strategic business plan is met.

As the on-site Human Resources Manager, you will manage the complete employee lifecycle including recruitment, learning and development, performance management and employee engagement initiatives.

You will use your coaching experience to coach and develop the hotel leadership team to successful outcomes and use this as your opportunity to be the catalyst for creative problem solving and strategic thinking. As this hotel is in its pre opening phase, you will lead efficient manning and departmental structural conversations, and the role will initially have a strong focus on recruitment and training compliance.

This role will support our hotel leadership team on a part time basis of 3 days a week with flexibility as to days or times.





What we need from you

Ideally you'll have a Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or related discipline, with a minimum of 2 years experience in Human Resources leadership role.

You will have an ability to impact and influence those around you with outstanding stakeholder management in a fast paced and energetic environment. A solid understanding of employee relations practices, industry award interpretation and the ability to communicate with employees across diverse cultures with a warn and approachable manner is a must.
