JOB DESCRIPTION

The Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPC) is transforming its ways of working and digital communication to help Victorians more easily find, understand and apply government information. The Digital, Design and Innovation (DDI) branch within DPC delivers digital projects, accessible open data, information services, website content and social media strategies, as well as managing products used across the Whole of Victorian Government (WoVG). 

The DDI team values systems thinking, pragmatic problem solving, initiative and resourcefulness. Above all we value curiosity, passion, creativity and innovation in the way things are done.

We are looking for 2 Product Managers to work on our SaaS publishing platform, Single Digital Presence (www.singledigitalpresence.vic.gov.au). It has grown from a proof of concept, to achieve product-market fit. We are now looking to scale the platform across government to meet increased demand.

You will ignite people's passion around the SDP products, within DPC and across WoVG. You will also play an important strategic, decision-making role in driving, communicating, and executing the product roadmap.

Working within DDI you will collaborate with the SDP product team, which includes specialists in UX research and design, analytics, content strategy and design, IT architecture, development, engineering and quality assurance.

This team is using Agile scrum to design, build, release and support SDP products and services. Many processes are still being developed and refined as we deliver out-of-the-box and custom websites.
