Psychologist/ Clinical Psychologist/ Clinical Psychology Registrar

Given the current environment and demand for psychological treatment more than ever is it important to work in a supportive and compassionate workplace. At Open Horizons we pride ourselves on providing an environment that is inviting, compassionate and enriching for both our staff and our clients. We are a team of psychologists working in a well-established practice in the Northern Suburbs. We have attracted and retained highly qualified staff largely as a result of the strong clinical and administrative support provided and our excellent relationship with referrers. We have systems that allow for both face-to-face and telehealth consultations to occur both onsite and remotely. We have a strong commitment to ongoing learning and staff development. Open Horizons draws on a range of evidence based psychological approaches including Cognitive Behavioural therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Analytical Therapy and mindfulness-based approaches. The practice has a growing interest in Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) with monthly group supervision in CFT provided by an external supervisor. We are a fee-paying clinic that predominantly work with adolescents and adults with anxiety depression, trauma and loss.

We are looking for a psychologist to join our team who is motivated to provide high quality treatment, who has an ongoing commitment to professional development and values working in a supportive and friendly environment. If you are an early career psychologist, a psychologist who is interested in trying private practice or a senior psychologist we welcome you to apply.
