Danone is currently seeking a Senior Brand Manager to join our marketing team. You will thrive working independently in an entrepreneurial environment and understand brand/business strategy of short life shelf products in the market.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Tracking brand performance, linking brand activation plan with brand results, working towards key KPI’s (sales, penetration, share etc.,).
  • Monitor & report portfolio performance and develop solid understanding of the drivers and the inhibitors and recommend plan modifications to optimise performance against objectives.
  • Manage the brand A&P expenditure vs forecast monthly.
  • Develop a solid understanding of the market & category, the competitors, as well as consumer and shopper trends.
  • Analyse competitors’ activity & NPD’s and develop NPD from a concept testing stage to a launch phase.
  • Organize product tastings and monitor the key organoleptic KPI to ensure that product is aligned with our quality standards.
  • Build the brand innovation pipeline in accordance with the defined strategy and present the key innovation/renovation business meetings.
  • Lead the x-functional team (sales, finance, operations, SSD, R&D etc) and monitoring the internal project management
  • Development and execution of brand activations (shopper communication, influencers, events etc., and their performance.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for defining the brand strategy, planning and execute the communication campaign and leading NPDs.

Ideally you will have:
  • At least 2 years’ experience as a Brand Manager in FMCG with short shelf life products..
  • Proven experience in business analysis as well as experience with market data software (Nielsen / IRI) along with solid proficiency in MS office.
  • Proven experience of successful project leadership/management and collaboration with key internal functions.
  • Proven experience to work with marketing agencies on a pack / activation project as well as communication aomplification plans.
  • Strong analytical skills, structured thinking and prioritization skills with ability to plan, manage and track brand performance.
  • Ability to identify relevant facts from data/research, comprehending consumer/customer behaviours and insights to identify growth opportunities and cope with a fast-changing market.
  • Project management and ability to lead cross-functional teams and nurture relationships with internal & external partnerships
