Psychology and Specialist Services (PsySS)
Under the direction of the Director of Psychology, PsySS is responsible for the professional governance of Psychologists across Monash Health and also holds operational responsibility for a number of mental health and other clinical programs including the Acute Neuropsychology Unit, the agile Psychological Medicine Clinic, the agile Comprehensive Care initiative, the Forensic Mental Health Team, Rehabilitation and Aged Care (Psychology), and the Wellness and Recovery Centre. PsySS has responsibility for the professional supervision of psychologists, psychology workforce development, the Psychology Registrar Program and for all Post-Graduate Psychology Student Placements across Monash Health.
About You
You are an experienced, energetic and determined and have highly developed leadership skills, extensive post-graduate professional experience and recognised professional specialisation, and/or a management qualification with significant professional leadership experience. You work collaboratively and think flexibly and your track record includes demonstrated success in the following areas:
- Leading people and teams
- Working effectively with clinical leads and highly skilled staff within teams
- Liaising with effectively negotiating with people and services to improve patient outcomes
- A commitment to access and service provision in public health
- Mentoring, coaching and supervision of staff and students
- Previous experience in continuous improvement including measuring clinical effectiveness, and undertaking quality and research initiatives

What you need:
- General Registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- AHPRA Clinical, Clinical Neuropsychology or Forensic Psychology endorsement
- AHPRA Primary and Secondary Supervisor for post-graduate psychology students and psychology registrars
- Experience in innovative service design and leading value-based clinical programs
- Qualification in Health or Public Administration/Management are desirable
