Our awesome Marketing team is expanding, and we are building a whole new internal agency to support Betfair’s fantastic marketing led growth strategy in the next two years. This new in-house agency will encompass media, creative and production services and that is just the beginning.

Speaking of growth, Betfair is growing fast. Our well connected, passionate and energetic Marketing team are working on some incredible initiatives at the moment and with a focus on being more Savvy than ever before in the way we do things, they are ready to change the game.

We are building a new team from the ground up. Our new Marketing Enablement Team consists of some very exciting new opportunities across a breath of new roles, including Production, Creative, Content, Media Traders and Leadership.

We are particularly excited about this specific opportunity, as our Digital Media Manager!

The role will partner with the brand & acquisition marketing team, to drive customer acquisition and brand awareness metrics. The role also works with our external media agency to build and execute integrated media and campaign plans across channels. This role is accountable for programmatic, search, social, native, and digital OOH while the media agency is responsible for traditional media, TV, Radio, Print and OOH.


What we are looking for:

  • Someone to drive growth through smart, efficient, and effective deployment of the media budget
  • A person to achieve KPI’s relating to customer acquisition targets and cost per acquisition
  • A superstar to partner with the media agency and acquisition team to develop integrated plans that complement brand awareness
  • A gun to partner with the insights team to develop and manage a media ROI model that enables optimization of media and channel plans in real time
  • A natural leader to lead, coach and develop the media trading team

But there is a catch. To be in the running for this great role, you should have:

  • Relevant qualification in marketing or related field and 5+ years relevant digital media buying experience
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of the digital ad tech landscape including DSPs, Ad servers and DMPs
  • Extensive knowledge of the media owner landscape and understanding of traditional and interactive media planning elements
  • Specific experience with platforms & tools such as Ad Servers & DSP’s - Social, Search and Native
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) & implementation of CM Floodlights
  • Knowledge of data platforms as they integrate with ad delivery platforms
  • Ability to apply technical skills from experience with the above platforms to learning additional tech platforms - i.e. additional DSPs, ad-servers, SDKs, etc
