About us

Technology Solutions (TS) provides a range of Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) services for the Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS). The branch sets the strategic direction of ICT in alignment with the business direction. TS is responsible for ICT strategies, initiatives, architectures, policies, projects, applications and infrastructure services in a multi-sourced environment.

About the role

The purpose of this role is to work and collaborate in a team of Data and DevOps people and contribute to a culture of data, automation, and cloud first principles throughout the Salesforce and Data Lake Landscape using iterative and agile approaches.

Working within a small multi-disciplinary team, you will establish and maintain methodologies for the Data Model development, data replication and integration processes between cloud based business systems. This includes, Data mapping, Data translation, business meaning and use of Data aligned to customer focused support and engagement attributes.

In this role you will:

  • analyse and profile data across systems to inform data replication and integration requirements
  • lead the delivery of data activities related to Salesforce implementations and integrations to AWS and the Data Lake leveraging technical best practices with architects, platform, and product owners
  • provide thought leadership and develop best practice for Data Analysis to deliver continuous improvement, transforming the ICT landscape and delivering business value.

About you

As our ideal candidate you will have:

  • experience working as a Data Analyst delivering enterprise solutions via technology providers in complex programs and projects
  • a strong understanding of typical enterprise data models – e.g. Salesforce; SAP, AWS, AZURE, Oracle etc;
  • previous experience in enterprise integration and data conversion/migration
  • well-developed analysis skills and technical documentation and communication skills
