Journey Expert (Product Manager) - ANZ Deposits

The Deposits Tribe are responsible for the end to end management of ANZ’s transaction and savings customers and products. As a Product Manager (internally know as Journey Expert) your mission is to do things right the first time, execute well managed product management related activities, improve our products and related processes, support our bankers/value chain, be a product subject matter expert and ensure our products, systems and processes are fit for purpose in a way that supports external and internal regulatory compliance so our customers and communities can have confidence in us.

You will bring your well-developed skills to support a wide range of activities such as product and risk management, business analysis, problem resolution, process improvement, change and delivery management. You will use these skills to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across the product value chain to ensure that business and customer impacts have been considered, our products are well managed and meet our commitments to our bankers and customers and any events and issues are adequately managed.

What you bring to the Deposits Tribe?

  • Existing functional experience or expertise in financial services product management and product related change and implementation.
  • Experience and understanding of Banking Products (Payments and Deposits) / Product Management and how changes can be implemented.
  • Strong interest in and affinity for deposits and/or transactional banking products.
  • An intense passion and curiosity for customers, their needs and wants, putting them at the centre of everything you do.
  • Strong relationship building skills and be able to work in cross functional teams to embed quality outcomes.
  • Strong interest in conducting business analysis, defining business requirements, impact assessments, communicating change impacts to stakeholders, supporting the end-to-end journey of implementing a change with oversight by a Product Owner and with support of the team.
