What the role is

This role is a truly unique and rare role in the company that is going to be dedicated to sales management in the company's Solar division which is dealing with residential mainly and some commercial customers. It will encompass supporting, training, coaching & mentoring your team for sales success.

  • Managing, training coaching & mentoring staff
  • Solar systems to residential and some commercial customer
  • Helping your team improve and succeed on the job
  • Monitor and interpret activity and performance
  • Improve processes and procedures for maximum results
  • Ability to train strong objection handling techniques
  • Assisting in the development of a high performance & winning culture
  • Working closely with the directors and management
  • Still getting involved in some sales yourself at times

This role is based in the Western suburbs of Melbourne.

The experience you need

To be suited for this role it is imperative that you are firstly coming from telesales / over the phone sales background and have successful sales history of achievement, and importantly; you have the skills and ability to have great relationship management with customers and the ability to close sales.

Your experience could be coming from being a Sales Consultant now ready to take the step up, or a Sales Management / Training role now where your full time role is to manage, train and coach new staff and you're looking for an exciting sea change.

  • Experience & knowledge in over the phone sales
  • Ability to train, coach and mentor staff to become better
  • Able to define assist in processes & procedure improvement
  • A major advantage having degree education in business or a relatable field
  • High energy & clear drive and motivation
  • Strong sales skills & rapport building skills to pass on
  • Good knowledge on how to overcome price point objections and land high ticket sales prices
  • Technical administrative skills intellectually in planning and strategising
  • Open minded mentality that anything is possible and 'out of the box' thinking
  • Completed professional training

Experienced from telesales, telemarketing, phone sales, internal sales, cold calling, outbound sales, call centre or related verticals are suited for this.
