The Opportunity 

The In-House Graphic Designer provides graphic design and creative services and support to the Campaign Marketing Manager and the wider Marketing team. The role is a first point of contact for graphics requirements across a number of channels including:


  • Offline materials – Print, Point of Sale, Press, Direct Mail; and
  • Online materials – Website assets, Paid Display Banners, Paid and Organic Social Media assets, eDM assets, e-Commerce assets (Shopify Plus).


Additionally, the role takes responsibility for the following areas:

  • Responding to campaign briefs with well-considered creative through-the-line concepts within the constraints of cost and time;
  •  Thinking creatively to produce new ideas, concepts and provide creative solutions within agreed timelines for both online and offline channels;
  • Actively contribute in team ideation sessions and bring the ideas to life;
  • Preparing Jenny Craig AUS/NZ advertising and promotional collateral in line with Brand Guidelines;
  • Designing modern and constantly evolving centre materials for each campaign launch;
  • Attending TV shoots to support photography and filming for TV, POS and Website;
  • Working to a brief, concept & design Jenny Craig AUS/NZ electronic communication across paid and owned channels including (but not limited to) a constantly evolving website optimised for conversion and e-Commerce, a robust & time-pressured eDM strategy and other paid media, such as Display media;
  • Supporting the Digital Marketing Team with assets for our e-Commerce store, including jpegs, gifs and web page design;
  • Development of Jenny Craig’s eDM assets and management of eDM guidelines; and
  • Supporting the photography and filming of new menu items for packaging and POS. Review and sign off packaging proofs designed by external packaging design agency.


About You: 

Creative, innovative and passionate, you come to the role with a flair for developing creative concepts and bringing them to life. You approach every task with the end user in mind and always deliver the brief. Additionally, you bring the following:


  • At least 3-5 years industry experience, ideally in a similar fast paced retail-based role;
  • A qualification (degree/certificate) in Graphic Design;
  • A proficiency with InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and Adobe edge, experience with premiere or aftereffects and project management tools such as basecamp highly desirable;
  • Proven experience designing for online and offline channels;
  • Proven experience with proofing for packaging;
  • Experience with product photography and styling;
  • Prior experience working to brand guidelines;
  • UI design and HTML5 animation experience would be highly regarded;
  • Superb time management skills and a habit for meeting deadlines;
  • An eye for detail; and
  • A team player at heart who excels working with others but also self-motivated when working alone.
