About The Company

We are currently working with a number of high-profile organisations, within the FMCG, Retail, Manufacturing and Logistics industries, who are currently looking to strengthen their Commercial Finance functions. Our clients have engaged us to talent pool on their behalf for a number of upcoming, exciting opportunities.

About The Role

As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for a wide range of financial accounting activities in accordance with financial reporting standards, statutory requirements and corporate policy and processes. Specific responsibilities will include:

• Month end financial reporting duties, including journals and general ledger reconciliations 
• Managing compliance with monthly tax and banking requirements
• Statutory Accounts & Audit, including liaising with external auditors
• Producing monthly management reports including variance analysis and providing insights into company performance
• Collecting, analysing and interpreting data coming from large complex datasets
• Improving the end to end internal processes
• Working on a number of ad hoc projects that will involve budgeting, forecasting and modelling.

About You

• Ideally, you will be CA / CPA qualified and hail from a mid-tier or big 4 chartered background. Previous experience in the aforementioned industries is desirable but not essential. You will have a strong understanding of the latest accounting policies, standards and compliance obligations and have excellent interpersonal skills.
