Job Description:

A new 12-month parental leave opportunity reporting into the Head of Marketing has become available in the Melbourne city office when you’re not working from home. You will spend your time developing the annual International Health Insurance (HI) marketing strategy to attract and retain overseas students and visa holders via both B2C channels and through B2B education and migration partners. As you’re leading a small team of two Campaign Managers, you’ll need to be comfortable coming up with the strategy and executing some of the activity alongside your team.

How will I help?

Key accountabilities include:

  • Lead, Develop and manage the team to implement best in breed integrated campaign strategies informed by data and insights.
  • Lead the ongoing optimisation of media spend and activity leveraging media mix modelling and attribution as well as continuously improve the ‘always on’ digital marketing program including SEO and SEM.
  • Manage agency relationships and resourcing to ensure outputs and assets are maximised, effective and innovative.,
  • Partner with HI stakeholders to ensure alignment, so that customer experiences are connected and consistent across all channels and help to meet business targets.
  • Oversee the annual marketing budget and ensure its allocated to the appropriate activity to achieve both acquisition and retention goals, and input into senior management reporting requirements.
  • Understand the International HI marketplace and identify strategic opportunities to drive the business further including strategic positioning of the Bupa International HI brand.

What do I need?
  • Significant and demonstrated end-to-end integrated campaign delivery experience, using ATL and BTL channels direct to the customer as well as via B2B partners.
  • Expertise gained as a retention and acquisition focused Campaign Manager from a large organisation of similar complexity as Bupa; think Telcos, Utilities, Financial Services etc.
  • Leadership experience of at least one direct report.
  • A passion for performance marketing coupled with capability from a marketing agency and managing agency relationships.
  • A high level of resilience combined with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
