PS21/25
Permanent Part Time
(64 hours per fortnight)
We are seeking two Orderly / Cleaners to join our professional Environmental Services team at Wimmera Health Care Group. These permanent part time positions are available immediately and include working a rotating 7 day, 24 hour roster. The successful applicants will be responsible for cleaning and housekeeping, food and beverage duties, transport and couriering, ward support and patient support as listed in the award guidelines.
Key Selection Criteria include:
Essential:
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to customer service and patient centred care
- Knowledge of food hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to prioritise workload to ensure all tasks are completed in the required time frame
- Ability to work under limited supervision
Desirable:
- Certificate III in Health Services Assistance or similar
- Previous experience in a cleaning role
- Understanding of infection control, good general hygiene
- Basic computer skills
- Current driver’s license
