We have an exciting opportunity available for a Business Continuity/HSSE Advisor to join our progressive, fast-paced organisation. In this dynamic role, you will partner with our ANZ leadership team to drive and deliver the HSSE & Wellbeing agenda whilst delivering on the global business continuity strategy & program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a centre of excellence on Crisis & Continuity Management (C&CM) and promote implementation of bp's standard crisis management programs
  • Maintain the C&CM Risk Register for all C&CM matters
  • Collaborate with the bp HSSE team to implement strategies and lead the GBS health, safety and wellbeing agendas
  • Delivery of in-centre wellbeing activities in line with bp Australia, GBS and global strategies
  • Deliver trainings on incident management, business continuity management and C&CM awareness
  • Manage and engage multiple business partners across segments both locally and globally
  • Balance multiple objectives, prioritise workloads and drive compliant commercial HSSE & Business Continuity outcomes


About You:
To be successful in this role you will have Business Continuity and Health & Safety subject matter expertise in large corporate environments, coupled with strong interpersonal skills and the capability to influence leaders to continue to drive our strategies and agendas forward.
Other essential skills and attributes include:

  • Demonstrated experience within a large, sophisticated global organisation in partnering and advising leaders on Wellbeing, Risk Management, OHS, OSF & OMS requirements
  • Significant experience in C&CM and Business Continuity Planning & the ability to implement these in a large corporate environment
  • Solid understanding of relevant OHS legislation and proven experience in applying to an office environment
  • Understanding of incident investigation and reporting requirements
  • Strong conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and in an ambiguous environment
  • Strong performance bias and demonstrated experience in implementing effective organisational change activities
